Coversure was started in 1986 as a local insurance broking service by Mark Coverdale, offering the local community with a face-to-face, friendly insurance specialist in the Huntingdon area. Mark’s aim was simple – use the most up-to-date technology available at the time to ensure customers received competitively priced insurance products and a friendly service.

The following years saw Coversure open over 100 offices in locations across the UK in order to make the service available to as many areas as possible. Franchise licences were granted to experienced professionals in the insurance industry, who shared the same vision and desire to succeed. Coversure now has an annual turnover of over £85m.
